　Chair of Engineering Accreditation Council (EAC), Datuk (Dr) Abdul Rahim Hashim visited INCT head office and Tokyo KOSEN with Associate Director, Engineering Accreditation Department (EAD), Ir. Prof. Dr. Wan Hamidon Wan Badaruzzaman for observing KOSEN Advanced course on Sept. 14-15, 2011.
　Every year, INCT accepts a large number of Malaysian students on government scholarships. However, after graduating KOSEN, most of them transfer to Japanese universities because it is difficult for them to understand the merit of going to advanced courses, especially without the extension of the scholarship.
　The purpose of their visit was to confirm how the Advanced Courses of KOSEN develop creative and practical engineers through engineering design education based upon the Washington Accord and to study the possible way of solving this issue.
　On the first day of this visit, we explained about KOSEN system and curriculum again, they visited Tokyo KOSEN on the following day. After the campus tour, Malaysian students who are enrolling and graduated from Tokyo KOSEN came and had free discussion with Datuk (Dr) Abdul Rahim and Dr. Wan Hamidon.
　According to EAC, they will discuss this issue based on the result of their visit Japan and make final decision as soon as possible.
