The Institute of National Colleges of Technology, Japan (INCT) and three polytechnics in Singapore (Republic Polytechnic (RP), Singapore Polytechnic (SP), and Temasek Polytechnic (TP)) concluded an agreement for academic exchange on September 22nd 2009 in Singapore.

Since these Polytechnics in Singapore concluded an academic exchange agreement with the group of ten KOSEN in the Kyushu/Okinawa area in 2005, they have been implementing the activities of exchange actively. This group agreement was enlarged to become a comprehensive agreement between INCT and these polytechnics in Singapore.

This agreement shows that the parties will implement the following activities on the basis of respecting each other and for their mutual benefit:
1) Exchange of students, 2) exchange of academic and administrative staff, 3) exchange of academic materials, publications, and information, 4) cooperation for joint lectures, research and symposiums.

The implementation of these activities will be discussed and developed by each KOSEN and the polytechnic in Singapore and is expected to expand throughout all KOSEN.
