| KOSEN Experience Program for Asian Students 2011 was held in Akashi KOSEN on Sept. 13-16, 2011. |
Center for International Student Exchange (CISE, founded by INCT) invited 55 Asian students including teachers from 10 countries and areas to Akashi KOSEN hosted this program in 2011.
After the opening statement by Dr. Kyokane, President of Akashi KOSEN, welcome speech was given by Mr. Kitani, Executive Director of INCT, and followed by guest speaker, Mr. Akiba, Deputy Director, Higher Education Bureau, Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) and Dr. Itoh, Director of CISE.
Participants enjoyed this program such as presenting their own schools, joining classes, and factory tour accompanied by 13 KOSEN students.
This program contributed to understand KOSEN's education system. Participants missed each other when they left, and deepened friendship in spite of different cultural background. We believe that this program satisfied participants to interact with each other throughout this program.
