The large circle drawn from the number 60 representing the 60th anniversary represents the "momentum, directness, and boldness" of the technical college students who are paving the way for the present and future.
In addition, we have created a more familiar design by including the blue color used on the National Institute of Technology's website and a gear wheel reminiscent of industry in the logo mark.

Although the design is simple, the use of gears, a symbol of engineering, gives you a sense of the special features of a technical college. In addition, the color scheme has a sense of weight, making it a logo suitable for the 60th anniversary of the founding of the technical college system.

The paper "airplane" in the foreground and the earth represented by 60 zeros represent the hope that the technical college will be able to go beyond the boundaries of Japan and make a leap forward into the world.
The five lines coming out of the paper airplane represent that technical college education is a five-year integrated education, and that the paper airplane is flying toward a bright future.
The outer circle and the word KOSEN have a three-dimensional feel to the back, expressing the idea that today's students are further connecting and expanding the history that our predecessors have continued for 60 years.

We created a simple and straightforward logo to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the establishment of the technical college system.
The Japanese flag in the middle of the letter O represents the spread of the technical college system and technology from Japan to the rest of the world.
By introducing a simple gradation, it is easy to recognize even in monochrome.

I think the good thing about technical colleges is that you can learn through hands-on experience. I have done many experiments, practical training, and exercises, but by working on things I had imagined with my own hands, new discoveries and learnings were born. I think this is common to most departments.
I thought that the reason why there is a robot contest at a technical college is because technical college students have the power to turn their imagination into creativity, so I chose this catchphrase.

The message contained in this catchphrase is the desire to expand the field of activity of technical colleges to the world level, and the idea that conventional wisdom will be destroyed and a completely new world will be created through the inventions and innovations of engineers trained at technical colleges. My wish is for you to go.
The catchphrase ``New World'' has two meanings: a new world as a new place for technical colleges to play an active role, and a new world created by invention.
