50th anniversary of the establishment of the technical college system
Colleges of technology (technical colleges) were established in June 36 through a partial revision of the School Education Act, and since the first school opened in April 1961, It has a long history and currently has a total of 6 technical colleges, both national and private.
As the 50th anniversary of the founding of the technical college system approaches, the National Institute of Technology, the Association of Public Colleges of Technology, the Japan Association of Private Colleges of Technology, and each technical college are collaborating as an opportunity to look back on the past and consider the future of technical colleges. We held various commemorative events in 24 with the catchphrase "Evolving Technical College."

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the founding of the National Institute of Technology, the National Institute of Technology (KOSen) aims to make further progress, with the keyword "Evolving KOSEN", and with a view to creativity and practical ability, the creation of innovation, regional cooperation, and international exchange, we aim to become a nation founded on the creation of science and technology. We aim to develop a rich and culturally rich society while cultivating practical engineers who are rich in sensitivity and creativity.
