About the common mark design for the 50th anniversary of the founding of the technical college system
As part of the project to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the founding of the National Institute of Technology, we started soliciting common mark designs from November 22, 11, and the deadline was December 29, 50. We received a total of 22 entries from people.
We would like to take this opportunity to express our deepest gratitude to everyone who submitted their works.
After a strict screening by the selection committee, the following winning works were selected for the Grand Prize and the Student Excellence Award.
From now on, the Grand Prize-winning work will be used as a common logo mark, and one character design (Coco-kun) from the Student Excellence Award will be used as a common mascot throughout commemorative projects.

The 57 ellipses around it represent the 57 technical colleges across the country, and at the center of the ellipse is an arrow that resembles a series of 50 representing the progress made to date. Expresses ``College of Technology''. The part connecting the numbers 50 on the back represents the great achievements built up by our predecessors and the future possibilities of our students, giving it a sense of depth by likening it to a field illuminated by strong light.

With the theme of "Evolving Technical College," we imagine robots being reborn into the next generation.
Among the retro and mechanical robots, modern robots that are more human-like and friendly are peeking out. What kind of leap forward will technical colleges make and what new faces will they take on?What kind of new faces will they take on?What kind of progress will they take toward the next generation? I've created a character that gives you a sense of hope for progress.
