Overview of the National Institute of Technology

The National Institute of Technology, an independent administrative institution, was established in 16 based on the Act on General Rules for Independent Administrative Institutions and the Act on the Organization of National Colleges of Technology, an independent administrative institution, in order to establish and operate national colleges of technology (technical colleges). .
The National Institute of Technology has established 51 national technical colleges across the country, and is actively developing active learning, creating new technical colleges that advance globalization, and promoting research activities that take full advantage of economies of scale. Through this, we cultivate practical human resources rooted in deep scientific thinking who can boldly confront the challenges faced by the region and the world.
