Endowed Chair/Endowed Research Department

The ``Endowed Course (Endowed Research Department)'' has been established with donations from private companies and others. Endowed courses (endowed research divisions) are staffed by visiting professors and carry out education and research in line with the objectives of the endowment. It is expected that wide-ranging collaboration between national technical colleges and private companies will progress, and that engineers in demand in the region will be trained.

Tsuruoka National College of Technology “Advanced Materials Course”

It will be established in 27 in collaboration with spiber Co., Ltd. (Tsuruoka City, Yamagata Prefecture). In this course, in collaboration with faculty members in polymer and materials science fields, we will teach knowledge and techniques related to the basics and applications of materials chemistry and polymer chemistry to students and engineers at local companies. , we will carry out education and research by making full use of collaboration with universities and companies in the Shonai area, as well as shared facilities on the Tsuruoka Metabolome Campus.

Anan National College of Technology “Materials Engineering (Nichia Chemical) Course”

This course is the first endowed course (endowed research department) at a national technical college, and was established in 19. Through a donation from Nichia Chemical Co., Ltd. (Anan City, Tokushima Prefecture), we will be providing material engineering-related lectures to students and collaboration with local companies, with the aim of nurturing young materials engineering and material engineering engineers that the region needs. In addition to research, we hold public symposiums, public seminars, and invited lecturers and presentations of research results at related academic conferences in Japan and abroad by endowed faculty members.
