About tax incentives

(1) Donations from individuals

By filing a final tax return with the Donation Receipt Certificate issued by our organization, you can receive deductions for both income tax and personal residence tax.
(If you only want to receive a deduction for personal residence tax, you can do it through a simple procedure at the municipality, ward, town, or village.)

◆◇◆Income tax incentives◆◇◆

– -<How to calculate income deduction>- – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
Regarding donations up to 40% of income, the amount excluding 2,000 yen will be deducted from income.
◆Donation deduction amount = Donation amount (maximum 40% of income) - 2,000 yen
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

*If your donation falls under the "Study Support Project Fund" or "Research Support Project Fund," you can choose a tax deduction system in addition to the income deduction mentioned above.
Donors are asked to select the most advantageous calculation method.

– -<How to calculate tax credit>- – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
The amount obtained by subtracting 2,000 yen from the donation amount and multiplying it by 40% can be deducted from your income tax amount.
Because it is directly deducted from the income tax amount regardless of the tax rate, for many people, the tax reduction effect is greater than that of income deduction.
◆Donation deduction amount = {Donation amount (maximum 40% of income) - 2,000 yen} x 40%
