National Institute of Technology International Student Support Fund
National Institute of Technology International Student Support Fund
<About the establishment of the International Student Support Fund>
We would like to thank you for your continued understanding and cooperation in providing academic and daily life guidance to international students. This time, the National Institute of Technology (KOSEN) will provide support for international students with the aim of supporting the healthy student lives of international students enrolled in technical colleges, providing financial support for faculty and staff who support international students, and further promoting international student exchanges that are being undertaken by technical colleges. We have decided to establish a fund.
Regarding the acceptance of foreign students, under the policy of the government's ``30 International Students Plan,'' the National Institute of Technology (NIT) has set concrete measures in its medium-term goals and plans, but at the same time, With the transformation of Japan's industrial structure, we are now in an era where the development of global human resources is required, and technical colleges must also tackle the creation of a global educational environment as an urgent issue.
Among these measures, there are cases in which foreign students fall into unforeseen circumstances such as accidents or injuries, cases in which faculty and staff bear the financial burden of foreign students, and cases in which technical college students encounter unexpected circumstances while studying abroad for a short period of time. We would like to build and work on a system that will allow international students and technical college students to lead a healthy student life, and that will allow our faculty and staff to provide study support with peace of mind.
We therefore ask for your understanding and support of this fund, as well as your continued cooperation in further promoting international student exchange at technical colleges.
