FY6 National Institute of Technology Student Awards Chairman's Special Award Ceremony Held
On Tuesday, March 25, 2025, the 2024 National Institute of Technology Student Awards President's Special Award Ceremony was held.
The National Institute of Technology Student Awards recognizes students and student groups (hereinafter referred to as "students, etc.") who have earned high social acclaim in their academics, research, extracurricular activities, etc., and have enhanced the reputation of national colleges of technology as a whole. In addition, among the students, etc. who have enhanced the reputation of national colleges of technology as a whole through particularly outstanding achievements, etc., a "special award" will be given to those students, etc. who have been recognized.
This year, 37 recommendations (28 individuals and nine organizations) were reviewed, and 29 recommendations (23 individuals and six organizations) were selected for the award. Of these, five were presented with the Chairman's Special Award (2 individuals and three organizations).
At the award ceremony, Chairman Taniguchi presented the award certificates and then gave a speech praising the award recipients.
Afterwards, the winners gave speeches and were greeted with thunderous applause.
