On Wednesday, April 4rd, the departure ceremony for the 3 dispatched teachers to Thailand National College of Technology (KOSEN-KMITL) was held. First, Chairman Isao Taniguchi handed out appointment letters to the five teachers who will be newly dispatched to the school, and offered words of encouragement, expecting them to do well in the field. The dispatched teachers also shared their aspirations for their dispatch.
Next, they exchanged opinions about future operations with Director Eiji Nakajima, and then held a kick-off meeting online with the teachers who have already been dispatched to KOSEN-KMITL. The five teachers departed for the school on the following day, the 5th (Thursday), and have begun their work there.
The dispatched instructors will work with local instructors to develop teaching methods, research guidance, develop teaching materials, and provide internship and job-hunting support. After completing their two-year term, they are expected to work on the advancement and internationalization of Kosen education at the organization headquarters and each school, and to become core personnel at the Kosen in the future.
