The final judging session for the 4th National College of Technology Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Contest will be held.

 The final judging session for the 8th National College of Technology Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Contest will be held on Saturday, January 24th, 1.
 This contest is a competition to present ideas for solving local social issues related to disaster prevention and mitigation, and the process of verifying these ideas. Through the activities of this contest, the aim is to promote the growth of technical college students and contribute to improving disaster resilience in local communities through the power of young people.
 This year, 34 applications were received from technical colleges across the country, and 10 were selected as proposals to advance to idea verification on July 22, 2025. Idea verification based on the proposals will then be carried out and presented at the final judging session.

Date: Saturday, January 24, 2026, from 1:30 PM *Poster session will be held from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM
Venue: Tsukuba International Congress Center Hall 300 (Tsukuba City, Ibaraki Prefecture)
Event format: Hybrid event (on-site and online)
