the purpose
The National Institute of Technology, an independent administrative agency, aims to develop creative human resources with the practical and specialized knowledge and skills necessary for their occupations by establishing national colleges of technology, and to improve the quality of higher education in Japan. Scope of work
The National Institute of Technology, an independent administrative institution, conducts the following operations in order to achieve the above objectives.
- To establish and operate national colleges of technology.
- To provide students with counseling regarding their studies, career choices, mental and physical health, etc., as well as life guidance in the dormitory and other assistance.
- Conducting research commissioned by or in collaboration with parties other than the Institute, or conducting educational and research activities in collaboration with parties other than the Institute.
- To provide open learning courses and other learning opportunities for non-students.
