As part of this project, in addition to holding the ``National Technical College Women's Forum'' three times to disseminate information about female technical college students, we also worked on creating a data book about female technical college students called the ``Women's Encyclopedia of Technical Colleges.''

The Women's Technical College Forum is an event where female technical college students express themselves in their own words. ●Female student makes a presentation to corporate stakeholders
Female students, ranging from 15-year-old first-year regular students to 1-year-old second-year majors, gave presentations in poster session format on ``specialized education at technical colleges,'' ``research activities at technical colleges,'' and ``extracurricular activities and student life at technical colleges.'' To do.
A female student will present in her own words how she has grown during her student life at a technical college. All business professionals are welcome to view the posters and ask questions and comments to the presenters.

To foster female engineers
In an era of promoting the active participation of women, national technical colleges are also aiming to increase the percentage of female students among new students to 30% by 30. However, a survey of graduates shows that the retention rate of women in technical positions is lower than that of men.
This forum aims to ``nurturing female technical college students who will continue to be active as engineers throughout their lives'' together with everyone involved in business.
●Promoting the growth of female students through forums
The Technical College Women's Forum provides career education for female students in four steps.
STEP1
First, while thinking about the content of the presentation, I will self-analyze what kind of growth I have experienced during my time as a student at the technical college. In the process, they will rediscover the features of technical college education and their own strengths.
STEP2
Next, as you prepare for your presentation, you will acquire the ability to convey information in an easy-to-understand manner. For the lower-grade students, it is their first experience presenting outside of school. For fifth-year students and major students, it is important to be creative in explaining research content in an easy-to-understand manner to people outside the field. While busy with schoolwork and extracurricular activities, you will also develop the ability to manage your schedule and the ability to share work in a team.
STEP3
By actually participating in this forum, you will receive a variety of inspiration from people involved in companies, junior high school girls and their parents, as well as faculty and staff from other technical colleges and female students. Through this process, I was able to realize once again the high level of evaluation towards female technical college students and my own personal growth.
FINAL
Through this experience, the female students are able to concretely imagine themselves working as female engineers in the future, further increasing their motivation to study at the technical college.
●Results of career education
We conducted a survey of female students regarding the ``basic skills for working adults'' (proposed by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry) that they felt had improved by participating in this forum. Many female students feel that their abilities have improved in some way by participating in the forum. In particular, 70% of female students felt an improvement in their ability to communicate, 55% felt an improvement in their independence, and 50% felt an improvement in their ability to take action.
Through participation in this forum, female students will learn about their strengths and characteristics, and will acquire the wisdom necessary to be active as female engineers throughout their lives.
