Female technical college students gave 27 poster presentations to junior high school girls and their parents. The breakdown of presentations was 5 on professional education, 10 on research, and 12 on student life.
In a technical college where there are many male students, we have created an easy-to-understand way to explain in their own words what kind of student life the female students lead, how they grow, and what skills they acquire. has been sent. Closing Remarks Kazuhito Furuya, President of National Institute of Technology, Tokyo

This forum had over 300 participants, including people from companies, demonstrating the high expectations for the success of female technical college students. In the conference room, there was a lively exchange of opinions among people from companies, presenting and participating students, alumni, technical college faculty, and others, making it a very useful place for exchanging information.
Watching the female students present at the venue with lively eyes shining, I could feel that they have different values and possibilities than male students, and female technical college students were also impressed by the high level of interest from the participants. I think it gave me a renewed sense of wanting to work even harder.
I hope that this forum will serve as an opportunity for female students to seriously consider their career paths, and that companies will be more proactive in hiring female students than they are now.
