Due to the long weekend at the end of March, there were initially concerns that there would be a small number of participants, but the weather was good on the day, and the forum was held with a large number of visitors. There were 3 receptionists on the day.

Shuttle buses were operated for junior high school students and their parents from Kurume National College of Technology, Ariake National College of Technology, Sasebo National College of Technology, and Oita National College of Technology, and there was a particularly large number of participants from junior high school students from Kitakyushu and nearby areas. At the opening ceremony, Principal Tsukamoto of Kitakyushu National College of Technology, the representative school, addressed junior high school girls and their parents, saying, ``Although only about 1% of technical college students are of the same age, they have all graduated and are doing well. I hope you will consider technical college as one of your career options.''

After the opening ceremony, 9 female students from 10 technical colleges and 61 campuses in the Kyushu-Okinawa area gave 42 poster presentations on education, research activities, and student life at the technical college to female junior high school students and their parents, expressing their personal growth. and the characteristics of the technical college. We also set up admission consultation corners for each technical college to provide information to help students learn more about the college.
Participating junior high school students and their parents said, ``My image of technical colleges has changed.'', ``I learned about the characteristics of various technical colleges, and it was useful for choosing a career path.'', and ``My desire to enroll in a technical college has become stronger.'' In the first half, female technical college students gave presentations to companies, and in the second half, companies gave presentations to female technical college students. At the opening ceremony, Principal Tsukamoto of Kitakyushu National College of Technology, the representative school, gave an explanation to business people about the current state of technical colleges and expressed his desire for the forum to see the female students working hard. There was a greeting.

(2) Poster presentation by female technical college students aimed at corporate stakeholders

Using the same posters as in the junior high school student section, 9 female students from 10 campuses at 61 technical colleges in the Kyushu-Okinawa region gave presentations to business people about the strengths of female technical colleges and the skills they have cultivated at technical colleges. I did it.
We received positive comments from the participating companies, such as, ``The presentation was well prepared,'' ``The presentation was lively and energetic,'' and ``It's a shame it's over. I hope it continues.'' I did.


(3) Poster presentations by companies aimed at female technical college students and teachers

There were 49 presentations from companies aimed at female technical college students and teachers, including creating workplaces where women can work comfortably and the active role of female engineers. For the female students, it was an extremely valuable opportunity to hear directly from female engineers who balance family and work, and to think about their own careers.
