In addition to the seven technical colleges in the Kinki region, a total of 7 female students participated from eight technical colleges in other regions.The first half was aimed at junior high school girls and their parents, and the second half was aimed at business people, making 8 presentations. Ta. In addition, 93 companies made presentations introducing their initiatives for gender equality and the success of female engineers.

First, at the opening ceremony for the junior high school student section (a session aimed at female junior high school students and their parents), Keiko Goto, principal of Nara National College of Technology, which is the representative school, gave an address. He explained the background and purpose of holding this forum, as well as the significance of continuing to hold this forum.

After the opening ceremony, a total of 17 poster presentations were made by female technical college students, including 7 presentations about specialized education at technical colleges, 25 presentations about research, and 49 presentations about school life, for female junior high school students and their parents. I explained in an easy-to-understand manner what I learned at the technical college, what I grew up with, and my dreams for the future, along with my own experiences. He also answered questions from junior high school students carefully and worked hard to convey the appeal of technical colleges so that they could include them in their future options.
At the same time, we set up an ``Admissions Consultation Corner'' with representatives from each school to provide information on technical college education.

In the corporate section (a session aimed at business people), Keiko Goto, principal of Nara National College of Technology, gave the following address.
``Through this forum, we hope to communicate the abilities of female technical college students to society, deepen our interactions with corporate stakeholders, experience the effects of human resource development starting at the age of 15, and hope that the students themselves will grow.'' There is.”

Afterwards, a poster presentation by female technical college students was held, highlighting the capabilities of female technical college students to companies and education personnel. The presentations were made through communication, answering questions from company officials and receiving meaningful advice.

Following this, 58 presentations were made by companies related to female technical college students and technical college instructors. There was a concrete introduction to systems that support the creation of a workplace that is easy for women to work in, as well as support for employees raising children. The female students actively asked questions, a rare opportunity to hear directly from engineers and human resources personnel.

At the closing ceremony, Noriyoshi Tsunoda, principal of Wakayama National College of Technology, gave the following address.
“To the female students who made the presentations, I feel that the future of Japan depends on you and that the future is bright.In addition, companies have expressed their desire to increase opportunities for women to play an active role and work hard to revitalize Japan. I felt a strong sense of determination from them. I feel that by continuing these kinds of initiatives, awareness will increase and the future of Japan will become brighter."

Lastly, we held a business card exchange session between business people and technical college faculty, and although the time was short, we deepened our interactions.
The 2016 Technical College Women's Forum in Kansai was attended by approximately 400 people, including business people, demonstrating the high expectations for the success of female students.
