Female students from technical colleges nationwide, including public and private colleges in the Kinki region, including seven technical colleges in Hachinohe, Suzuka, Yonago, Tsuyama, Kure, and Kitakyushu, participated.The first half was aimed at female junior high school students and their parents, and the second half was aimed at business people. We made 7 presentations. In addition, 46 companies made presentations introducing their initiatives for gender equality and the success of female engineers.

First, in the first half (a session aimed at junior high school girls and their parents), an opening ceremony was held, in which Noriyoshi Tsunoda, principal of Wakayama National College of Technology, the representative school, introduced the schools participating in this year's National College of Technology Women's Forum and provided information about the forum. The purpose of the event was explained and it was stated that women's active participation is required in society.

After the opening ceremony, a total of 14 poster presentations were made by female technical college students, including 13 presentations about specialized education at technical colleges, 19 presentations about research, and 46 presentations about school life, for female junior high school students and their parents. Female technical college students gave an easy-to-understand explanation of what they learned and grew at the technical college, and their dreams for the future, along with their own experiences. He also answered questions from junior high school students carefully and worked hard to convey the appeal of technical colleges so that they could include them in their future options.
At the same time, we set up an ``Admissions Consultation Corner'' with faculty members from each school to provide information on technical college education and entrance exams.

In the second half (session aimed at business people), Noriyoshi Tsunoda, principal of Wakayama National College of Technology, talked about deepening interactions with business people through this forum and drawing out the capabilities of female technical college students through active exchange of opinions. After receiving the lecture, she said that she would like people to experience first-hand the effects of human resources development for female engineering students at technical colleges.

Afterwards, a poster presentation by female technical college students was held, highlighting the capabilities of female technical college students to companies and education personnel. The presentations were made through communication, answering questions from company officials and receiving meaningful advice.

Following this, 47 presentations were made by companies related to female technical college students and technical college instructors. There was a concrete introduction to systems that support the creation of a workplace that is easy for women to work in, as well as support for employees raising children. The female students actively asked questions, a rare opportunity to hear directly from engineers and human resources personnel.

At the closing ceremony, Nara National College of Technology Principal Keiko Goto, who is an advisor to the Gender Equality Promotion Office of the National Institute of Technology, said, ``I believe that by participating in this forum, I was able to build a network between female students and people from companies. I felt that the female students who gave the presentations were very lively and had a lot of energy.I feel that in the near future we will no longer be saying the words ``promotion of gender equality.''

Lastly, we held a business card exchange session between business people and technical college faculty, and although the time was short, we deepened our interactions.
The ``Technical College Women's Forum in Kansai 2017'' was attended by approximately 360 people, including business people, demonstrating the high expectations for the success of female students.
